*Shorinji Kempo Monterey Branch is an on-going class.
*We do not have a separate child class. Children practice together with adults from 18:00 and will be separated into a group for their technique practice later.

Monthly Tuition: Adult: $50, Under 18 years old or Student: $20, (8-9 practices a month)

Uniform: Only Shorinji Kempo dogi with Shorinji Kempo logo can be accepted. Please inquire to the Branch Master. ($50-70 depending on the size)
*All Shorinji Kempo branches all over the world are non-for-profit-organizations.
*All the Masters and instructors must NOT make money for their living from teaching Shorinji Kempo. All the Masters and instructors teach for love of Shorinji Kempo and its philosophy.
*The monthly tuitions collected are used for rental space fee, equipments, insurance, and related activities.
<The purposes of Shorinji Kempo Monterey>
1. To teach Shorinji Kempo to the members of this Shorinji Kempo Monterey and World Shorinji Kempo Organization. Shorinji Kempo is a Japanese Martial Arts based on Zen Buddhism and an educational system with its own inherent philosophy and techniques established by Doshin So in Japan in 1947.
2. To nurture strong and caring individuals in order to acquire good health, self-defense, strong mind and spirit, confidence, courage, and matured personality through Shorinji Kempo practice and activity.
3. To contribute to establishment of better community and society through Shorinji Kempo practice and activity.
